Fight Hatred

At the stroke of midnight, India received its independence from the British. Although anti-Semitism was very evident among the Portuguese Christian missionaries who arrived in the southern part of the nation in the 16^th century, there have been no anti-Semitic incidents stemming from the Hindu majority in the nearly 3,000 years Jews have lived in the subcontinent.
